Cool - we got an email from the folks you mentioned below Bob asking us to call them to discuss it!  Crossing fingers of both hands :-)

Cheers!

We asked them to set up a private streaming password protected or send us the digital file and we will stream it from our own server at no charge - we cannot charge members, nor would we want to, but we told them that if the members here were able to screen it online here for a short period of time then many of them probably would do a local fundraiser for their groups in their communities.  We felt it was a win/win proposal - especially if we bear the cost of streaming from our own server.  We would just make it available to TCA members for a one week period - like the first week of April - and that way if they want to set up an Earth Day screening they will have plenty of time to hook it up.  Our logic is that this community is home to many of the leaders, educators, and activists who would benefit from being able to preview the movie so that they can decide if they want to do an official screening.  We shall see what their response is and keep our fingers crossed.

Cheers

Thanks Bob - we just sent them an email requesting screening privileges for this community - we hope the idea we proposed is accepted and we will keep you posted!

their new film is called THE BIG FIX.. visit you tube to see the trailer.. its all about the gulf coast oil spill and the governments coverup... josh and his wife rebecca go on a search to find out the truth about it all and discover a dismaying reality. They are allowing communities to screen it during April and early May.... Thanks so much..  Incredibly good and informative film....   Friends of mine are facing this in Bahia Brasil where they are building huge refinaries and ports in one of the most pristine coastal areas of the state in order to prepare for the oil they will be drilling for in the deepest and largest oil deposit recently found in the world off of brasil's coast... I ve sent it off to them...

Thanks again so much

Debra
