How might your current work contribute to the Transition movement?
I'm the Donor Relations Director at the Community Environmental Council in Santa Barbara, and we support the Transition Town movement.

The CEC is a 38 year old environmental non-profit focused on promoting energy conservation and efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable transportation in response to peak oil and climate change.

Our goal is to reduce the community’s carbon footprint by working at the grassroots up to state policy level to end our region’s dependency on fossil fuels in one generation.
