Profile Information

How might your current work contribute to the Transition movement?
Currently I am involved with GRID Alternatives, volunteering to install solar panels on low income housing. I was a farmer in North Carolina before I moved here in August 2011.
In what ways do you personally identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I believe the ways in which we are living now are unsustainable and it is our job to change that.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
I can grow food, teach yoga classes, and I am very well educated on topics such as sustainable development, radical politics and social movements.
What aspects of the Transition Town movement most interests you?
I believe in the power of the process of autonomy. The more self-sustaining our towns and cities are the better.
