How might your current work contribute to the sustainability movement?
I have been active in the environmental community for 11 years in Long Beach and am now moving to Nipomo, a great place I think to learn about my first love which is organic gardening. I believe we need to change the way we grow food and also transport it. I think society at large has lost sight of what a gift food really is.
In what ways do you personally identify with the Sustainability & Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I believe this movement attracts free and productive thinkers who understand the importance of working together to achieve a better world.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
Endless energy, creative thinking, marketing community relations and years of community and volunteer work.
What aspects of the sustainability movement most interests you?
Organic gardening, sustainability, re-use. Above all, the possibility of learning from others.
